Robotic packaging solution for picking and placing pancakes

The video shows a bespoke robotic packaging solution delivered by PWR to Yummy Bakery in Belgium for picking and placing pancakes in a thermoformer.

The PWR solution, comprising of 3 robots, is designed for high speed robotic picking and placing of round and other shapes of pancakes. The solution can pick over 12.000 pancakes per hour. The solution is supported by two 2D vision systems to accurately determine the position and orientation of each pancake and ensure optimal performance and quality control.
