Being different is not easy - because that comes with a certain risk of not being accepted left aside.
For example, if you start to act and behave differently then people that you used to spend your time with might not accept you.
If you create the product that is completely different from everything else that is available in the market then there is a chance that consumers will not accept it.
But Ditinciveness also comes with even greater opportunities that can increase your chances to grow and expand.
While you might lose your existing friends because you have created a new vision for yourself - you will most likely find new ones.
So instead of spending your weekends playing video games, you will invest your time in learning new things with people who strive for similar goals.
If you focus on creating products that are different for what’s already available in the market then there is also a great opportunity.
Yes, there is a chance that it will not be accepted, but there is a chance that people will buy it because it’s different.
In conclusion, being different is risky, but there are way more opportunities to get noticed and therefore there it’s even riskier to be the same.
So if you have a chance to create something that everyone else is doing or something that is completely new then you should always go for something original.
