As a young bricklayer I was taught by what I know now as I get older & Appreciate wizards 🧱 that a good bricklayer picks his level up as Least as possible as let you’re eye be you’re guide and lay with you’re hand .

Now Traditional Bricklaying Everyday breeds good practice and good practice Breeds Permanent.
So working traditionally Everyday enables me to build 4-6 courses freehand and I’l still be level , plumb and gauge (unless I’v been out the night before 😉)

This is a method I will pass onto my sons and every Learning trowel that follows me on all social platforms 👌
