1. Aspirin honey remedy
A combination between aspirin and honey is the perfect solution to calm the infection and to reduce the inflammation. Honey is a good antiseptic, antibacterial and hydration element, whether aspirin is rich in salicylic acid.
Remedy: Crush three uncoated aspirin tablets and mix them with a teaspoon of honey and ½-1 teaspoon of water. Apply the obtained paste on the infected area and wait for about 10 minutes. Then wash the skin with tepid water and dry.
2. Tea tree oil soak
Tea tree oil is a very good element in fighting the acne because it has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic elements. Therefore, a soak will reduce inflammation, open the pores and eliminate the ingrown hair.
Remedy: Mix up to 20 drops of tea tree oil with warm water, then dip a washcloth and press gently on the skin. Wait a few minutes and repeat the procedure as may times as you think it is necessary.
3. Coconut oil sugar scrub
A scrub formed of these two elements will help your skin reborn. Coconut oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and hydrates the skin, whereas sugar removes the dead cells and prevents the appearance of other ingrown hairs.
Remedy: Put in a bowl one cup of sugar, half a cup of coconut oil and 10 drops of tea tree oil. After you apply the obtained mixture on the skin and massage it using circular movements, wash with warm water.
