Dr. Elaine Phillips, Intro. to Biblical Studies, Session 1 Intro Historical Geography

Dr. Elaine Phillips has a B.A. from Cornell University and a M. Div. from Biblical Theological Seminary. After receiving her M.A. from the Jerusalem University College she has taught there during short term programs for many years. She received her Ph. D. from The Dropsie College for Hebrew and Cognate Learning, and is the Distinguished John Ockenga Professor of Biblical Studies at Gordon College, Wenham, MA where she has taught for over two decades. Her book-length commentary on Esther is included in The Expositor’s Bible Commentary, edited by Tremper Longman III and David Garland. In 2014, her devotional, With God, Nothing is Impossible, was published by Deep River Books. Her latest book, An Introduction to Reading Biblical Wisdom Texts was published by Hendrickson Publishing in August 2017.
